He was very Impressed with the piano itself and how well it has been maintained).
(Also, we had an Amazing piano player with us as part of our group and we Loved sipping our wine while listening to him play the Beautiful piano in the back room. Julie makes all of the wine in-house and we enjoyed 5 samples of our choosing with nice pours! The wine was Lovely and we were happy to take home a souvenir wine glass to remind of us our time on the Great Lakes. Not wanting the winery to disappear, Julie and Tony bought the bar so that this Escanaba landmark can continue its legacy. Apparently, Julie had been working at the winery learning to make wine for some time when the previous owner decided to sell. The owners, Julie and Tony were warm and welcoming and the winery is cozy and inviting. My mom and I were Lucky enough to visit Leigh's Garden Winery as one of our stops on an American Queen Voyage shore excursion.
